The2023 Emmy Awards nominations are here!!

The upcoming awards show will be honoring the past year in television, celebrating those in front of and behind the camera, from actors to directors, costume designers and more.

This year, there are so many first time nominees, including young stars Jenna Ortega, Bella Ramsey and Storm Reid!

Jenna is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work in Wednesday, of course. She is the third Latina ever to be nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy series, following Rita Moreno and America Ferrera!

There are several more nominations for Wednesday, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Cinematography For a Series (One Hour), Outstanding Contemporary Costumes For a Series, Outstanding Directing For a Comedy Series, Outstanding Main Title Design, Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), Outstanding Music Competition For a Series (Original Dramatic Score), Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music, Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Single Episode, and Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Comedy Series Or Variety Program.

Bella and Storm were both nominated for their work in The Last Of Us, with Bella receiving Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and Storm with Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Pedro Pascal also picked up a nom for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, while the show earned and Outstanding Drama Series nomination, among many others.

Additional 2023 Emmy Awards first time nominees include Daniel Radcliffe, Ayo Edebiri, Dominique Fishback, Pedro Pascal, James Marsden, Jeremy Allan White, Riley Keough, Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Taran Egerton, Meghann Fahy and more.

Only Murders in the Building, Hocus Pocus 2, Ms Marvel,Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Voice, and more also received multiple nominations.
